{Total Recall} Happy Birthday to ME!

I always look forward to my birthday each year, but I completely forgot it this year because of the BIG DAY.

10 days before the wedding day, I was still busy at work because of the new account launch. But it did not keep us from celebrating. I had a lovely lunch with Peejay after work at Yabu, Megamall Atrium.

Peejay reminded me of my birthday and bought me a pair of flat shoes at Naturalizer. I love them to bits! My feet are happy.

I've been blessed beyond measure and I thank the Lord for the wins and opportunities to grow.Happy birthday to me!

{Total Recall} W@W Bridal Dinner

Every bride deserves a bridal shower. Although everyone has their own definition of a fun bridal shower. I am one of those girls who prefer to have a quiet conversation with married women --- giving me tons of advice about married life. Sadly, this did not happen because I was only available on weekdays and my married friends were tied up with their work and family.

Fortunately, my W@W girls joined me for a bridal dinner last May 23rd. We really did not talk about married life. In fact, we talked about wedding preps! Yes, we never get tired of discussing wedding preparations.

Dheng (ni Rexford) was the first one to arrive at Conti's Greenbelt. She made sure that we had a nice spot to chit chat. She's really good at logistics. :)

Then the rest of the girls arrived.

Joyce (ni Rainier), Charm (ni Ray), She (ni Jack) and Neren (ni Benjie)

Joyce (ni Rainier) na ayaw mag-diet. LOL.

Dheng gave me books for expectant moms and dads. I know we will use them in the future, while Joyce gave me something that I was able to use for honeymoon. *wink*wink*

Neren came all the way from Bulacan just to make it for the bridal dinner. I really felt the love. She's one of my favorite and beautiful W@W sisters.

The time may be limited but I cherish each moment I had and still have with these girls. W@W Love.

{Total Recall} A W@Wie Wedding

One of the secrets of enjoying wedding preps is to bond with bride-to-be's. Everyone knows that I am a loyal W@Wie and that includes visiting or gatecrashing a w@wies' wedding.

A few days before the wedding, w@wie April shared some concerns about her On-The-Day Coordinator. It turned out that w@wies Tin (ni Marvin), She (ni Jack), Kaye (ni Randy), Aweng (ni Thessa) and Laey (ni Mikel) made themselves available to be April and Manny's coordinators for their big day.

Of course, we went to the reception venue, Enderun, for moral support. We call it W@W Love.

The reception set-up was done by Amante Fleurs. It was beautiful.

Ms. Benz taking a picture of Tin (ni Marvin). Caught on camera na hindi nagttrabaho si Tin. Haha.

W@wies Neren (ni Benjie), Joyce (ni Rainier), Charm (ni Ray) and of course, my then fiance, Peejay (behind Charm).

After checking the set-up, we decided to do more chika at the courtyard. The weather was perfect. It was not-so-hot and windy afternoon.

Ms. Benz and her long-lost daughter, Charm.

W@Wies Krystle and JP. (the most kwela and kulit couple!)

Neren and Benjie took this time to do an ocular visit and to talk to Amante Fleur about their set-up,too.

Mimma and Charm checked the candy buffet.

Former W@Wie turned supplier, Anna of Aisle 1401 joined us for some chitchat.

She (ni Jack) arrived from the church and said that guests were on their way to the reception venue.

One last picture ala Familia Zaragoza before we left.

After visiting the reception venue, Peejay and I ate at Friday's with Joyce and Charm. I think they did not have any plans of diet-ing. Hehe.

Group picture!

{Total Recall} Marriage License Completion

I can say that processing wedding documents was a bit of a hassle but at least, we already got our marriage license! It only took 10 business days and either one of you (bride-to-be or groom-to-be) can pick up the marriage license. Peejay got it for us and paid P2 for the releasing fee.

You will really feel a great relief once this document is already in your hands. Sabi nga nila, big check! :)

{Total Recall} DIY night

No. This post is not about the Hollywood movie, Total Recall. I just thought of a naming convention for my backlog kwentos. Awesome right??? :) So, we start with our DIY night in May. Not sure if I mentioned that Peejay and I really have awesome friends. We call it Sunday Friendship Club or SFC (because I'm so creative in thinking of a group name haha). Rayjohn, Keren, Isko, Boni dropped by at the condo to help us out with some DIY stuff. I could say that we were productive that night but because I was too tired from work, we did not really spend a lot of time working on our props.

Boni and Isko helped us cut paper flowers for the aisle decor.

My roommate, Happy helped with the cutting, too.

We planned to have tissue balls but gave up because it was too time consuming. LOL.

Thank you for spending the night with us, SFC! Mga true friends kayo! :D

I'm Still Alive.

Welcome back to me! Oh my...after more than 3 months, I'm back! You might be asking...what happened? Well, A LOT really happened since May.

To summarize it, here you go.

wedding -> honeymoon -> backlogs at work after 2 weeks and 3 days of vacation -> new role in the company + relocation -> DIY condo -> another new role in the company [blah blah blah!]

It took me a month to really study my new role and get the hang of things. Right now, I can say that I have already that comfort level. But wait, just last week, our company announced our "reorganization" which means that I am going to take another role. But from the looks of it, it's more client focused. So I hope that it will not really eat much of my social life. I am committed to finish all  my backlogs here. I'm really excited to finally be able to post my stories again.
